Chocolate and Flowers

My cat is addicted to chocolate and flowers. Jensen says she's a true girl. She has been known to climb on the kitchen counter and chew through plastic wrappers to eat chocolatey things found inside. You'd think that'd I would learn not to leave anything on the counters, but it's not always easy to remember.

Some things she has eaten include:

-half a chocolate Costco muffin, that was still wrapped (she only took a bite out of the blueberry muffins)

-a brownie I brought home for Jensen that was on the counter wrapped in saran wrap, I thought I lost it, but later found it chewed to bits behind the couch

-a Hershey kiss- these were sitting on a bowl on the coffee table, I came home to find an empty wrapper with some chocolate crumbs on the floor

I got some flowers in the mail a few weeks ago and she is constantly climbing on the table to eat the leaves. Jensen also got me a rose for V-day that she keeps trying to eat.

I'm surprised Pigeon hasn't killed herself yet with all this stuff, but she finally did get sick today from everything. I hope she learned her lesson.

a side note-- I just googled "can cats eat chocolate" and according to petpeoplesplace.com, even in relatively small amounts chocolate is poison to cats and dogs. I also found a question and answer on Yahoo Answers. In response to the question "can cats eat chocolate" someone posted "No, my Siamese ate a Hershey bar and was dead in a day".

Valentine Love!

This and Jensen and my third Valentine's day together and our first one married! I looove Valentines day and making decorations with lots of red and pink and sparkly things. For V-day I wanted to make super yummy steak dinner for Jensen with dessert and everything but I had a test to take last night and had been studying all day so when I came home I was super tired. I beat Jensen home by a few minutes and he came home with a rose and some chocolate turtles! Jensen said he didn't want to get anything for V-day so that was a nice surprise. He was really hungry and since I was so tired we decided to go out for dinner and save me making delicious food for another night.

And Jensen said he wanted to go shopping! which I love and he hates so that was also very nice. I told him that I've been wanting a watch so we went to get me one!

I made Jensen a big heart that said I love you because... and a bunch of little hearts cut out that had reasons why I love him written on the back.

My love watch! Jensen picked it out himself :)

Dinner!!! Yum. Except I did find a hair, not yum. I just pretended it was mine so I wouldn't be too grossed out. Who knows, maybe it was mine.

Valentines Dance!!!

Our stake had a Valentine's dance tonight. I convinced Jensen to take me because I thought there was going to be free dinner (there wasn't). He didn't want to go because he said there was going to be a bunch of nerds there (there was). It was pretty fun though. It made me feel like I was 14 again, only I didn't have to hope I would get asked to dance by my crush because he already married me :).

While at the dance Jensen and I were talking about how at stake dances there's always the super nerdy guys. Well they get married too! and come to married people stake dances. And wear their wizard capes.

Day 1

Do my teeth look nice and clean? Because they are!

I saw a silly facebook thingy today where you post a specific picture for 30 days so I decided I'm going to do that up here to make me put more posts. Dy 1 is a pic of myself and 10 facts about me. Here goes...

1. I have a strong belief that my new last name is pronounced wrong. It should be Paterson with a long "a" sound. And this is why: all these words... tater (as in potato), tatter, Mater (from Cars), matter, later, latter.

2. Most people who don't know me still think I'm 18- I went to the dentist today and while I was there two people asked me if I was at my 1st year at BYU. nope, my 5th.

3. I like applesauce probably more than any adult I know, with pizza, chicken nuggets, and of course pork chops! yum

4. I love writing lists. Grocery lists, lists of things to do, lists of things I want (my favorite kind of list), lists of lists I need to write...

5. My favorite books are the Harry Potter books. Sometimes I feel ashamed of this because I feel like my favorite books should be more classic or something that really makes me think. Nope.

6. I wish Hogwarts were real and I could go there.

7. Every time I ever have a dream about cats they're killer evil cats that I have to kill so I can survive. Sometimes by kicking them or hitting them with a hammer or a sword. I don't know why because I really do love cats.

8. One of my biggest fears is parasites. Mostly getting one. Like some sort of worm inside my body or something laying eggs in my head. I think this may come from watching too many weird medical shows. I'm also afraid of people in masks. They really really creep me out.

9. I LOVE cardigans. and colorful tights. and painting my fingernails.

10. I really hope that one day I have twins, and I know you're all probably thinking "well you've never raised them", and I know I haven't but I am one and I think they're pretty awesome. You always have a best friend to play with (unless you're fighting) :)

Snowboarding!

Thursday I had the great idea to skip school and go snowboarding with Jensen (I only had one class so it was ok to skip). The snowboarding was great! It was beautiful and sunny and so fun! Annnd we were able to convince Suz to skip work and come with us.

After snowboarding we were all starving and I had the not so great idea of going to Sonic for some food. After eating a couple 75 cent California burger specials none of us felt so good. I vow never to eat Sonic food ever again (maybe).
