7 months

I basically suck at taking a photo for these monthly Dunken posts, so I missed 6 months. But here's 7!
Dunken's bottom two teeth are starting to come in and he is a drool machine! He's been sleeping through the night pretty well, and has even slept 10 hours strait a couple times!  He rolls over to his stomach almost immediately every time he is on the ground.  He is still pretty terrible at eating solids.  He spits almost everything out and will seal his lips and shake his head when I try to feed him.  He has a ton of hair and has already gotten his first hair cut!  He is a really happy baby and is constantly smiling.

First Hair Cut

Dunken's hair wisps were a little out of control, and he was getting called a girl by strangers more often than he was called a boy, so Jensen and I decided it was time for a hair cut.
He did really well during the hair cut.  Jensen tried to hold his head still while I trimmed without accidentally nipping Dunken.  Now he looks like a cute little boy, and surprisingly less like a baby! :(
 Handsome little guy!

A few more of Dunken and Dad

Here's a few more pictures of Dunken and Jensen from our photo session up the canyon.  As we were headed to the car the light was just too pretty not to take a few more.

Dunken and Mom

Dunken is with me and only me most of his days.  I'm a little nervous he is going to be a mama's boy who cries when I'm not around when he get's a little older, but he also seems to really like new people.  At church or the store he smiles almost non stop at everyone we pass.  Even if he does turn into a shy mama's boy I'm so grateful for all the time I get to spend with him and watch his personality start to develop.  He is such a sweet little guy.

Dunken and Dad

Dunken has a favorite in our house and it's not me.   When Jensen is around he gets all the attention, smiles, and laughs from Dunken.  It's the cutest thing in the world to watch them play together.  When Jensen gets home from work Dunken's little face lights up.  All Jensen has to do is look at him and smile to get some giggles.  I'm so excited to watch their relationship at Dunken gets older.

Dunken goes to Idaho (and meets a goat)

A few weeks ago Jensen went out of town for work all week and I went a little stir crazy at home alone.  The next week he was gone for scout camp, so Dunken and I headed off to Idaho to visit  my mom at my uncle's house.  I hung out with my mama and cousins, ate lots of yummy food, went swimming, and made jam with my Aunt Rosie.
One morning Rick (aka Grumpa) and I went to visit all the animals with Dunken.  He's so funny with the animals.  Even though they don't belong to him he gave them all names and feeds them and visits them every day.
First we said hello to the goats Blackie and Brownie.  I think Dunken liked them :)
Then we said hello to the mules. I forget their names.
Until next time Idaho.

Out the Window

I love seeing the world through this boy's sweet innocent eyes.  He is so curious and excited by everything that's new to him.  Sunday I propped him up on the couch and let him look out the window.  I'm not sure what he was looking at, but whatever it was he really enjoyed the view.
