Half a Year

Happy 6 months to my little man! I can't believe I've had a baby for HALF A YEAR! I should be an expert mom by now right ;)

Sundays up the canyon

Jensen and I have been going up to Tibel Fork Reservoir on Sundays a lot lately to get out of the heat and enjoy some pretty green trees!  I think these pictures were actually from Jensen's day off on Tuesday or Wednesday last week.  I love going up in the evenings.  There's always a lot of photo sessions going on for families, engagements, and bridals.  Jensen teases me because I get so excited seeing all of them.

Dunken flashback: 1 month old

Now that I have Dunken I have to move all the photos from my phone to the computer about once a month because it fills up so fast.  It's even more often now that he is more active and I take more videos.  I was looking through all of my phone pictures since he's been born and decided to post some of my favorites.  These are all from March when he was just two months old.  It may seem like a lot, but you should see how many I have taken!  Also can I just say how much looking at these old pictures makes my heart ache, and he's not even that big yet.  The time is going by way too fast!  Once I post all of the old photos of Dunken I'll try to keep up with posting them more regularly on my blog.

Gopher Hunting

Every year we go to Canada we go gopher hunting.  I think Jensen could have gone for hours every day we were there and not gotten bored.  We went out to farmland of family friends to go shooting.  I have never seen so many gophers in my life.  We probably saw close to 1000.  There's not too much to say about gopher shooting, so here's a lot of pictures for you to see.
Jensen was in the zone.

Waterton

After paddle boating on Cameron Lake we went down to the town of Waterton to eat lunch and relax a little.
A family that wear's matching shirts stays together ;) and is super nerdy.  I made Jensen his jeep shirt for Father's day and made one for Dunken and I to match too.
He was not very happy, but that face is so cute!
Jensen wanted to dip Dunken's toes in the chilly water.
I think I have the cutest nieces ever.  I'm pretty sure every aunt says that, but really I do.  Alyssa was throwing rocks into the water.  This one was a little too big to make it.
Dandelion picking.  I remember when I first learned dandelions were weeds I was so confused about how such a pretty flower could be a weed. :)
It's not a trip to Waterton without stopping at Big Scoop.  After we ate lunch and played by the water a little we headed downtown or ice cream.
Every year when we go to Canada I want to see a moose and a bear.  No moose this year, but we saw a mama bear and three babies! They were so small and cute!
Here's the view of Waterton as we were leaving.  It sure is a pretty place!

Cameron Lake Paddle Boating

While we were in Canada we went up to Cameron Lake and went paddle boating.  I've only ever been paddle boating once.  It was on my uncle's small pond when I was about 10 years old.  Our paddle boating on Cameron lake was not at all like I remember.  It was so hard!  We got an hours worth and after about 10 minutes I think we were all tired and wanted it to be over.  I've never heard a group of adults complain so much! haha
Happy Desiree and Daley. (Before we realized how un-fun paddle boating really is)
I felt bad for Dena and Andrew. They had to paddle their boat with just two adults.
Not so happy anymore.
I found a mini iceberg on the lake! It was sticking out of the water only about an inch on three different spots.  We paddled by so I could pull it out and it was huge and made of such pretty clear ice!
Even though paddle boating was not so fun and all we did was complain about our tired legs I'm still glad we went. The lake was beautiful! I think if we go back again we'll try canoes next time. :)
