101 in 1001

My friend Jennie posted about this on her blog, and I loved it.  I think Design Darling originally came up with this idea, completing 101 goals in 1001 days.   I love making lists and setting goals, even though I'm horrible at keeping new years resolutions.  I thought this idea was great because most of these are goals I can check off and won't just quite after a few weeks.  I also like that some of these goals are more simple and things I've been wanting to do or learn, and others will take a lot more time and effort.  Can I also say that coming up with 101 things for me took a really long timeSo here is my list...

Conference Weekend

Conference Saturday Jensen had to work and then went up to Salt Lake for the Priesthood session of conference, so I was home alone pretty much all day.  That meant not getting dressed and eating lots of food.  Conference isn't nearly as fun all alone, but all my snacking made it better :).  I made German pancakes for breakfast, and before I knew it I was hungry for lunch.  After lunch and the first session of conference I made cookies between sessions.  I think I ate 10 of them Conference Saturday.  The second session included more snacking and a really long nap (oops)

Sunday Jensen and I were able to watch conference together.  We did a little napping too :)

I've been using this website to print out handouts for my lessons in Young Women's for church. Courtney makes the cutest designs to go with the lessons in the Come Follow Me manual.  She also made some really cute designs from conference quotes.  Here's a few of my favorites.

Belly belly belly

September 29 (21 weeks)
October 6 (22 weeks)
 October 20 (24 weeks)
You guys, this belly of mine is growing!  It seems so big to me, and my baby still only weighs about a pound, so I'm a little afraid of how big I will get before baby comes.  The past two weeks or so my belly has really seemed to pop.  Pretty much every time Jensen sees me he comments on it now.  I actually look pregnant instead of just like I ate a large meal.

I have been feeling really good lately.  Always tired, but that's nothing new.  I have experienced a new pregnancy symptom a few times now that I didn't even know existed: Charlie Horses in the middle of the night!  This is not fun at all.  Besides nausea and throwing up, this has to be my least favorite thing I've experienced, but at least it doesn't last very long when it does happen.  It just hurts so bad!  To prevent them I've been trying to be better at drinking more water and walking around more, since I sit all day at work.  Also taking nightly baths, those can't be bad. :)

Cascade Springs

Another photo overload is coming right up. That happens in the fall when we go up the canyon :)
Last year was my first time going up to Cascade Springs and I made sure we had another trip there this year. I wanted to collect leaves to make a wreath.  The leaves were all covered in tiny bugs, so that was pretty gross, but at least they were pretty to look at.
We found a little snow on the ground!
hello baby

Birthday Boy

Happy birthday to my awesome husband!  Every year together seems to get better and better, and I can already tell this next year will be great.  I'm so excited to have a little baby with you and start our family together.  Love you!

Apple Pie from Start to Finish

Pick
Peel
Slice
Cook
Crust
Bake
Eat!

If you're interested here's the recipe I use for my apple pie.  I do make a few changes though.  I like my apples soft so I precook them in a pot with all of the other filling ingredients.  When the apples cook they release moisture so I don't add the water the recipe calls for, and I also add cinnamon to my apples while they cook.

American Fork Canyon drive

A few weekends ago Jensen and I took a drive up American Fork canyon. It was beautiful and the weather was perfect! I've said it a million times and I'm sure I'll say it again and again, but I love going up the canyon. It's the most beautiful place in the world to me.  I love spending that time with Jensen without tv or computers and phones (mostly) to distract us.

(baby bump around 20 weeks)
