Strawberry Days Rodeo and Mullets

Last week Jensen and I went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo in Pleasant Grove.  We have gone the past two years with a good friend of mine who lives down in Manti, so I don't get to see her as often as I'd like.  Our birthdays are just a few days apart and the rodeo is just a few days before our birthdays, so it's sort of a little birthday get together.  

My favorite part of the rodeo is the bull riding and the delicious strawberries and cream they sell at the concession stand.  And all the mullets! I have never seen so many mullets in one place in my life.  They seem to be making a comeback, at least for the cowboys of Pleasant Grove.

Brace Face

I'm not sure if me getting braces really deserves an entire blog post, but not too much has been going around here lately so here you go.  I got braces!  And now I look 5 years younger and have a little lisp, so that's fun. ;)

Summer means

Summer is officially here and it just might kill all of us.  For a place that seemed to be an endless -10 this winter I do not understand how just months later there are endless days of 100 degrees.  Maybe I should move to Portland, Oregon. 

Summer means an extra lazy cat.

Summer means lots of snow cones!

Summer (for me this year) means killing the dandelion forest that has taken over my backyard, so we can plant grass!
