Over the weekend

54/365: Saturday night Jensen and I stayed home and watched a movie togther, complete with popcorn, soda, and candy.  (Saturday February 23,2013)
55/365: Cute shoes to church. (Sunday February 24, 2013)
Jensen napping in the warm sun.

365 Catchup

Be prepared for a bunch of not so exciting pictures.  Lately my life is just not that exciting, but that's ok.  I'm also trying to get caught up posting on my 365 project.
47/365: Saturday means laundry day.  Of all the chores that exist laundry is my favorite so I don't mind.  Except socks. I hate them and my dryer for eating them. (February 16, 2013)
48/365: Pigeon likes to watch me when I get ready in the mornings. Cute or creepy? You decide. (February 17, 2013)

49/365: Good morning street. (February 18, 2013)
50/365: Pigeon loves her catnip mouse toy.  But she can tell when I'm watching because she stops playing with it so I can't get a picture. (February 19, 2013)

51/365: Blogging in bed.  Pigeon joined me. (February 20, 2013)
52/365: Jensen and I got a huge utility bill last month, so we have been keeping our house really cold.  Which means hats inside sometimes. (February 21, 2013)
53/365: February is almost over so I think it's time to take down my valentine decorations, but not without one more picture first. (February 22, 2013)

Andy Warhol Exhibit

46/365:  If you live in the Provo area and have never been to the Sweet Tooth Fairy you are missing out.  So good! My favorite is the salted caramel cupcake, but I branched out during our date and got Nutella. Also delicious, but I'm not sure if anything can top the salted caramel.  (February 15, 2013)
After our sweet tooth was satisfied we went to the Andy Warhol exhibit at the BYU Museum of Art.  It was neat to see so much Andy Warhol artwork in person!

Red

43/365: Wreath on my front door.  I found this beauty at a thrift store for $3! (February 12, 2013)
44/365: Prepping for one last decoration for Valentine's day. (February 13, 2013)

45/365: Day of love day!  Jensen and I decided to spend Valentines day at home, instead of waiting in a crowded restaurant to eat overpriced food.  We had chicken and mashed potatoes, and chocolate covered strawberries and lava cake for dessert.  We also decided to skip out on gifts this year and just enjoy our new home. (February 14, 2013)
I made Jensen a card too.  He didn't think it was as funny as I did.  (I got the idea from my friend's blog)

From Sunday

As usual Sunday this week was another great day.  I'm bad about always being on my phone, computer, or watching/listening to some tv show most of the time  (I'm writing while I watch tv and have my phone right beside me).  Jensen and I have made a rule to not bring our phones to church on Sundays so we have less distractions during our meetings.  I want to try to unplug more during the rest of the day on Sunday too, so we can have more quality time together.
41/365: Salad Tacos. So good! From this recipe. (February 10, 2013)
A Sunday dinner isn't complete without Sunday desert.  This week it was cookies.
Spring is just around the corner, and our grass is starting to peek out from under the snow.  I want to get a few more days of snowboarding in this year, but besides that I am so excited for sunny warm days.
Jensen wants to get a few more snowball throws in before spring too.

Treasure Chest

40/365: My mom got this trunk one year for me for Christmas growing up.  When she moved out to San Diego a few summers ago Rick brought it with them and left it with me.  I really like it, and get all kinds of compliments on it and I'm pretty sure she got it from Big Lots :) (February 9, 2013)

 38/365 (February 7, 2013)
39/365 (February 8, 2013)
I'm already out of inspiration for project 365 and I'm only halfway through February.  So here's some pictures of Pigeon.  Hopefully as spring comes I will find more inspiration.

Sun!

37/365: I feel like I rarely see the sun these days.  When I leave for work it has barely come up, and it's usually too foggy or cloudy to see any real rays.  By the time I get off work it's already getting dark, and pitch black before I'm home.  I work in a cubicle all day without a window in sight so the brightest thing I can see is my computer monitor.  Last week I switched shifts with a lady at work and was off at 4! That meant the sun was still up when I got home (even after running errands).  I think I should probably take some vitamin d. (February 2, 2012)

Little Things

34/365:  I know a lot of people don't like Valentines day because it's a silly holiday where you spend unnecessary money, and you should show love year round, but now that I have someone to spend every Valentine's day with I love it!  I know Valentine's Day shouldn't be the only day I show Jensen how much I love him, but I still think it's fun to spend some extra special time together and to celebrate each other.
I made a Valentine's garland to hang about mine and Jensen's bed.  I love having it there! It just brings a little extra happiness to our room. (February 3 2012)
35/365: For as long as I can remember my mom has had this brass leaf sitting on her dresser top holding different odds and ends.  Last November when Jensen and I went to California to visit her I found it stashed away in a pile, so I asked her if I could have it.  It's fun to have it now sitting on my dresser top, and is a little reminder of my mom when I see it there every morning. (February 4, 2012)
36/365: Goodnight. (February 5, 2012)

Sundance Film Festival

A few weeks ago after a day skiing at the Canyons Jensen and I went to the Sundance Film festival.  It was our first time going so I wasn't sure what to expect.  We didn't see any films, just walked around downtown Park City.  I was hoping to see some movie stars, but no such luck.  I heard Taylor Swift and Daniel Radcliffe were both there, so I especially wanted to see them.  I'm not very good at knowing who celebrities are, so most people we passed I would study their face to see if maybe they were someone famous.  I'm sure those people thought I was strange for staring at them.

Skiing in the Clouds

A few weeks ago Jensen and I went to the Canyons in Park City to go skiing (and snowboarding).  The morning we woke up go to everything at home was covered in a layer of ice from nasty icy rain we were getting.  We debated whether or not we should even go, because all the way up to the ski hill it was still gross freezing rain.  Since we drove all the way up to the hill we decided we should just go anyway.   The snow was slow and sticky, and I got wetter than I ever have snowboarding, but it was still really fun.  And a plus to going on a day with not so nice weather was that the hill was so empty!
A few spots on the ski hill, especially at the end of the day, were insanely foggy.  I felt like I was going to crash in to someone or something because I couldn't see more than a few feet in front of me.

Jensen wanted to go on one more run after I was done for the day, so I went to the bottom of the hill and warmed up, and dried my soaked gloves, by the fire.
